Why choose Camouflage By Microskin™ instead of cosmetics?

Paving the way - Microskin™ a simulated second skin with 35 generic colours that actually match your skin tone and last up to 7 days! Gone are the days of using the traditional cosmetics! It’s time to upgrade to Microskin™ the Gold Standard in skin camouflage.

Microskin™ is a light liquid that is highly pigmented, this simulated second skin which is formulated individually to colour correct skin conditions, is a light liquid that is applied to the epidermis (top layer of skin) via a sponge or airbrush for a quick flawless even finish, it doesn’t matter what gender, lifestyle or skin condition you have this product fits all!

Is It Make Up ?

Microskin™ is not a cream or make up based product and doesn’t have the make up appearance like other camouflage cosmetic products; traditional cosmetic concealers tend to be thick in texture and have a cake like appearance. Concealing an area with traditional cosmetics you roughly spend roughly one hour per day applying a 5 step routine using a range of concealers, powders, thick cover up lotions and potions which cannot guarantee to last to the end of the day plus the conscious consumer would not be able to lead a “normal” lifestyle like many others.

Why Is Microskin™ Different?

It’s not Make up its Microskin™. Our patented Microskin™ technology has helped those who wish to conceal conditions such as vitiligo, deep scarring, rosacea, port wine stains, eczema, stretch-marks, hypo-pigmentation, burns, birthmarks, unwanted tattoos and cover for thread or varicose veins and give the consumer instant confidence in leading a normal lifestyle when it comes to daily activity and days out with the family. For example : you can swim, take a shower, wear any clothing without the product rubbing off, zero residue on bed linen plus you only have to apply Microskin™ every 2-7 days depending on the area you are covering and skin type you are applying it to.

How is it Applied?

There are two techniques of applying Microskin™. Stippling with a specially designed stipple sponge which has a pore like texture which gives the application a 3D effect and a more “realistic” appearance is the most common technique used at home, this technique is  meant for areas that are smaller than the size of the palm of your hand. Airbrushing is the technique used for larger areas. The airbrush allows the user to achieve a fine, even application which dries quickly and is the most favourite technique in clinic - this technique may need a little practice but once shown you will never look back. A Microskin™ trained consultant will determine what procedure best caters for your condition and both are very easy to learn so you can apply Microskin™ anytime of day or night at home.

Is There An Age bracket?

Microskin™ is safe for anyone to use. Children are also ok to have Microskin™ applied to their skin although we recommend babies and toddlers 0-5 years old avoid using Microskin™ as their skin may be sensitive at this age.
